Aisha and Shannan’s wedding at Santo Winery was one of those that I anxiously waited the whole summer. I could feel Aisha’s excitement in every single email we exchanged and I wanted to make sure I meet the couple’s expectations and most of all make them enjoy their wedding experience with me to the fullest.

Indeed the couple became so quickly accustomed to the island that it was as if they had already been there many times. On their big day, everything was on my couple’s side. Upon arriving for the wedding at Santo Winery, it felt as if everything was into place for an exceptional day. And exceptional it was, since the sun was shining bright at the Santo Winery Wedding venue and the scenery became iconic: It was one of those days on the island that humidity was so low that you could actually see the near islands in the distance, or as Aisha noticed, you could see the other side of Earth.

The ceremony was flooded with emotions. Aisha’s dress by Atelier Pronovias was almost glowing under the sun. Seeing her standing on the wide porch of the Santo Winery Wedding venue, with the deep blue of the Aegean sea surrounding her created a mesmerizing vision. Aisha’s dear friends, wearing robes matching the aegean blue color before revealing their stunning gowns, reminded me of the ancient priestesses, showering the bride with the gifts of happiness and profound joy. Shannan in Fellini Uomo was anxious, I could tell, but not once he stopped smiling, matching in elegance his beautiful bride to be. His smile never left even when it was accompanied by tears of joy from his friends and family.

Dear Aisha & Shannan, may you carry all these precious moments with you for a lifetime. And may all the blessings from our small island guide you to a life filled with love and joy. I really hope to see you again. I am sure it will still feel as home!
