Adriana and Darren came all the way from Canada to tie the knot in Santorini. The striking beauty of the island was the main reason behind the couple’s decision to have a destination wedding in Greece. They exchanged vows in an emotional ceremony that took place in Santorini Gem while the bride looked stunning in her Maggie Sottero dress. After the ceremony we had the chance to visit Pyrgos village for portraits. When it came to deciding on a place to celebrate their marriage, they wanted it to be somewhere simple and romantic, sharing it with their closest of friends and family.

They wanted their guests to feel the intimate love that they have for each other and decided together that a destination wedding in Santorini ticked off everything they wanted; breathtaking views, idyllic sunsets and tranquil atmosphere. What better way to celebrate the rest of their lives together than in one of the most romantic places in the world?

I really enjoyed being part of Adriana and Darren’s wedding, because apart from meeting two wonderful people, I had the chance to work with a couple that considered photography one of the most important aspects of their wedding day. We had been in touch with Adriana through several emails and we managed to plan the wedding day according to the best outcome in the weddings photos.
